Es Mi Derecho II

The exhibition held at the Plaza de las Niñas (Girls’ Square) on November 25 had a profound impact on the organizations that convened to mobilize and witness the performance. It marked the beginning of the activities planned for the day for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, November 25th. The visual performance involved painting the symbol of the feminist movement—a purple scarf measuring 8 meters long and 4 meters wide—on the ground of the Plaza de las Niñas.

This event held immense importance as it represented the collective dedication and determination of the young women and collaborators of Colectiva Las Niñas de Guatemala and Mujeres Transformando el Mundo (Women Transforming the World).
